Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers’ 2023 Summer Slider Eating Competition

Qualifier Rounds held on June 17th, 2023 at every Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers location.

Championship held on July 4th at the Scottsdale 4th of July Celebration at Westworld.

Qualifier Round:

  • 10 Eating Slots Available at Each Location, Amateurs Only, No Professional Eaters.
  • $25 entry fee for each competitor.
  • Each contestant is given 30 sliders, the first one to finish all 30 under the 10 minute max time frame is the winner and moves on to the Championship round.
  • Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

 

Championship Event:

  • The winner from each Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers’ location qualifier will be invited to compete.
  • 30 sliders, first one to finish is the winner.
  • Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

 

Contest Rules

  1. Entries will be limited to the first 10 non-professional eating contestants registered at each Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers location. Entry fee is non-refundable.
  2. Contestants must be at lest 18 years of age.
  3. Contestants may only sign up at 1 location.
  4. All contestants must be checked in and waiver signed at their respective Cold Beers & Cheeseburger location by 2:30pm on Saturday, June 17, 2023. Contest begins at 3pm.
  5. The object is to eat as many cheeseburger sliders with water as the only beverage. Water will be provided to all contestants.
  6. Each contestant will be given 30 cheeseburger sliders to start, and the allotted time is 10 min. Whoever finishes their sliders fastest, will determine the first, second, and third place finisher.
  7. Dunking in au jus and/or crunching the slider is allowed.
  8. Separating the burger from the bun to eat them individually is allowed.
  9. Must eat everything on the cheeseburger slider, including bun, cheese, meat patty, and caramelized onions.
  10. Contestants must not touch any cheeseburger slider until the starting signal.
  11. Winner will be determined by whomever has eaten the most cheeseburger sliders the fastest within the allotted time.
  12. The judges will determine the winner of the contest, not the participants, and the judges’ decision will be final.
  13. Any contestant breaking any of the above rules will be disqualified.
